We offer art classes, camps, and community programs for kids in South Los Angeles.
Coloured Art Studio closes the gap in equitable arts education for elementary students in South Los Angeles through culturally responsive art classes, workshops, and community art experiences. Using our original curriculum highlighting Black and Brown artists and integrating social-emotional learning, we create safe spaces where children—and their families—build creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
Where: We serve the local schools and partners of South Los Angeles, Districts 8-10.
Who: We serve Elementary & Middle School with High school Internships and Mentorships
Mission Statement
At Coloured Art Studio, we envision a world where art fuels personal growth and community empowerment. Through accessible, inclusive artistic experiences and strategic partnerships, we aim to inspire creativity, foster connection, and amplify diverse voices. Our studio strives to be a leading force in the creative landscape, enriching lives and nurturing collaboration.
We are always looking for donations to support the growth of our grassroots program. Funding to support our community reach, our hiring of new exciting and passionate Art teachers and acquiring of materials. Every year, we aim to keep our costs of classes and materials low and accessible for all types of families, so funding supports scholarships for families in need every quarter !
